In Bahawalpur, Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Medical School is a medical school. Lieutenant General Atiqur Rehman, the then Governor of Punjab, founded the Quaid-e-Azam Medical School on December 2, 1971. For clinical training, the college is connected with the Bahawal Victoria Hospital and the Civil Hospital Bahawalpur. Professor Nawab Muhammad Khan is the founding principal of the school. Professor Shafqat Ali is the current President of Tabassum College.
It is the first hospital campus to be completely built by Pakistani architects, and includes A.R. There are signs of Hye architectural style.
The design of the building integrates natural climate management features such as cross ventilation, strategic window space, and shade casting overhangs and courtyards. In addition, the wall vault not only provides insulation but also allows the air to pass through the roof wall, reducing the wall temperature. Insulation is also provided by the hole walls. It provides natural protection against the hot and humid climate of Bahawalpur.
