Agricultural University Peshawar has five faculties in 26 departments. Graduates of this University are serving in important positions in public-private sector organizations, both inside and outside Pakistan. The mission of the University is to provide educational and research contacts to rural communities and the public so that poverty can be eradicated in rural areas.
Agricultural University Peshawar (UAP) is a renowned research university located in KPK Peshawar (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) in Pakistan. The University ranks third in the list of agricultural universities of Pakistan. However, UAP has three institutions – the Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (IBGE), the Institute of Business and Management Sciences (IBMS), and the Institute of Development Studies.
