BISE DG Khan fulfills its duties and responsibilities by conducting the annual examination and declaring the 11th class result on time. The board starts the Intermediate Part I Annual Examination in July in the districts falling under its jurisdiction. DG Khan Board was established in 1989. The board is governed by the Punjab Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act 1976. The main objective of the board is to achieve the goals and ensure the completion of all the activities as per the schedule. There are different committees working in BISE DG khan and different tasks are assigned to each. The jurisdiction of the DG Khan Board is limited to various districts such as Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah and Rajanpur. Every year thousands of students appear in the annual examination of Matric and Intermediate conducted by the DG Khan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. As far as the 11th date sheet of DG Khan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is concerned, the exam schedule was not declared due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. All the exams were postponed and on the instructions of the Education Minister, the board promoted all the students. The promotion criteria was prepared by the officials so that the students can study in the next class without wasting the academic year.
