The format of the tests is in the form of MCQs. The paper comprises of 30% general section, 70% subject section, English (Verbal) 15% and analytical reasoning 15% exam. The tests are designed in a format to maintain the quality of education standards in Pakistan. GAT is approved by all universities in Pakistan and qualified candidates are given priority over other candidates. The transparency, effectiveness and efficiency of GAT tests are nationally appreciated; It has improved the overall education system in the country by introducing the eligibility of candidates for admission and recruitment.
