Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad was established in 1974, it is the first open university in Asia with emphasis on distance education in philosophy, natural science and social sciences. AIOU offers enrollment in Graduate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, M.Phil, Ph.D., and other programs. According to educational programs, spring semester admissions take place from February to March, while autumn semester admissions are open from August to September. The university pursues two semesters of change each year (Spring-Autumn). Admission forms and prospects can be purchased at the University’s main campus, 44 regional campuses, and over 100 co-ordinating offices across the country.
