In recognition of the services of this great scholar, the University of Multan was renamed in Bahauddin Zakaria University (BZU) in 1979, being the largest university in Punjab providing education to all students related to the programs of Sindh. All students are advised to check their roll number slips and the university-appointed examination hall.
