Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Malakand Board started functioning as an autonomous body in 2003 and its main objective is to provide transparent and quality education in Malakand and its affiliated districts. It is the main responsibility of the board to conduct the Matric and inter exams. Thousands of students from Malakand region register themselves every year. It has jurisdiction over District Malakand Agency, District Bajaur Agency, District Dir Lower and District Dir Upper. The board has taken steps to raise the level of education in all the districts of BISE Malakand. It also conducts exams for certificate courses like CT, PTC, OT and oriental language courses. It is one of the main board of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The board was inaugurated to provide a platform to the students of Malakand for further studies.
