The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education was established in 1979. The Sukkur Board has jurisdiction over four districts including Larkana, Khairpur, Nawabshah and Jacobabad. The Sucre Board provides facilities to the public sector. The board is moving towards self-reliance and also meets revenue as the demand for capital becomes examination fees.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is responsible for conducting examinations and providing timely results.
