National Testing Service (NTS) is providing Undergraduate Assessment Test for admission to MS and MPhil programmes. The objective of the GAT Test is to measure the aptitude and knowledge skills of the candidates as per the admission criteria. The results of the test establish the ranking of the candidates based on their performance which helps in qualifying admission
The GAST tests are designed on the basis of specified criteria provided by the universities of Pakistan. Candidates can re-appear in the GAT exam to improve their previous grades. GAT Test is the famous assessment; It is accepted for admission by universities across Pakistan. NTS service is Pakistan’s most reliable testing service because of timely results and conduction of examinations, consistent quality, effective evaluation, cost effectiveness, score reporting, fair evaluation and efficient monitoring of examinations.
The GAT test is divided into three categories: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning. Verbal reasoning includes prefixes, suffixes, antonyms, conceptual, tenses and aspects, part of speech, conditionals, functions, comprehensions, inferences, linking devices, and main ideas.
Quantitative Reasoning includes Arithmetic: Business Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Consumer Mathematics, Percentage Ratios and Ratios, Zakat, Usher and Inheritance, Fundamentals of Geometry, Applied Geometry, Areas and Sections, Matrices and Determinants, Basic Statistics, Arithmetic and Geometric Sequences, Linear Graphs, Sets and Functions, Introduction to Trigonometry, Projection of a Side of a Triangle, Chords of a Circle, Tangents of a Circle, Chords and Arcs, Angles in a Segment of a Circle, Practical Geometry Circles, Congruent Triangles, Parallelograms and triangle, line bisector and angle bisector and basic statistics and probability. Analytical reasoning includes deductive and inductive reasoning, critical thinking and writing skills.
GAT tests are available in Faisalabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta and Rawalpindi. GAT test is valid for two years. The objective of the NTS service is to conduct effective, fair and testing of international standards to assess the performance of candidates for admission, scholarship and recruitment purposes, research on educational, professional and testing systems to identify existing academic and operational gaps Have to get ahead. To build potential development of educational and professional individuals and institutions by vocational certification through testing and evaluation, in systems, and to produce and disseminate information and research on education and professional development standards.
