Introduction to KEMU
In 1860, King Edward Medical University was established. The Vice-Chancellor of the University is Professor Khaled Masoud Gondal. The university has many affiliated institutes and centers which include Nuclear Medicine Center, College of Orthopedic Technology, College of Allied Medicine, Convalescent Center, College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences, College of Nursing and College of Physiotherapy. KEMU offers admission in a variety of fields related to medicine and many students are accepted into these study programmes. The university has several departments that include anatomy, biochemistry, community medicine, forensic medicine, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, and histology.
